I'm not sure which versions of Frankenstein I've seen over the years - I have a shocking memory. I did see Nick Dear's new Frankenstein play three times in the spring though, so I'm rather fond of that version of the story.

The play itself was a bit uneven, but the production was amazing, especially the two main performances, the lighting and the sound. There was no interval, but the time just flew by. The good news is that, last I heard, there was pretty definitely going to be a DVD released of the two performances they filmed.

Wow this is awesome. Reminds me of a part from the Hound of the Baskervilles for some reason when Holmes is out on the moor and being stalked.
